“Cry Wolf!” with Jack Pine & the Dirty Sheep
Settle into an afternoon of soulful storytelling and powerful voices at Moncton’s historic Salle Bernard-LeBlanc. This rare double-bill features Juno & CFMA-nominated Jack Pine, the celebrated “Lone Wolf” of alt-folk, sharing the stage with the spirited indie-folk duo Dirty Sheep, who champion the call to “find your herd.”
THE ARTISTS
Jack Pine
Jack Pine is, ”dynamic”, ‘giddy’, bittersweet”, Alt-Folk Singersongery at its best. Nominated with his band Jack Pine and The Fire at the 2019 JUNOs and the 2018 Canadian Folk Music Awards, he hollers and howls like a lone wolf, spitting wry words and tall tales while strumming guitars and mandolins. Jack sings songs of lost souls and forgotten truths, with lyricism that blends vivid and powerful imagery with quirky wordplay, dark humor, and biting social commentary.

Dirty Sheep
Dirty Sheep is a sassy acoustic duo known for soulful harmonies, energetic hooks, and a terrible band name. Rooted in connection, this Ottawa-based indie-folk duo delivers a playful folk style with a gritty, real-world edge. Their sound is a sonic map of the Canadian landscape, born from highway-worn storytelling. From VIA Rail bar cars to festival stages, they invite audiences to gather and find kinship in their music.
For lead vocalist Deborah Landry, this concert is a significant homecoming to her Acadian roots, offering an afternoon of sharing stories and songs with her hometown herd.
